As quilters we love to collect, whether it is fabric, buttons, or unique trimmings, it’s in our nature.
When we were in Houston last year for the quilt show we discovered some gorgeous collectable pins commemorating the current and previous quilt shows. We could not resist and so a number of different pins found their way home with us in our luggage.
We loved them so much that we wanted to look at them all the time. As you can’t wear all your pins at once we came up with a way to display our pins on a Pin Quiltlet.
This Quiltlet works great for commemorative pins as it has many spaces for all shapes and sizes of pins. It is based on a traditional 5-Star design, and we made it in country colours taken from the colours in some of the pins.
